Onci in the stars with the new mobile planetarium:
The ONCI announces the acquisition of a mobile planetarium, allowing the projection of various documentary films in 360 degrees.
This one, installed at this very moment for a period of two weeks.
And this at the entrance of the "Casif Theater" of Sidi Fredj in Algiers.
A screening of 16 documentary films on the menu, including "The Polar Star", "Planet" or "We the Stars" at the rate of two sessions per evening.
With a capacity of 20 to 25 children, the mobile planetarium is an inflatable dome-shaped structure.
It has a central projector on the ground to broadcast films in 360 degrees on the walls of the structure.
Then it is the turn of the city of Oran for the month of August to host the event, more precisely on the esplanade of the Hotel Méridien.
to accompany the musical entertainment program organized by the office in these two cities during the summer season.
From September the mobile planetarium will be installed "in the cities of the highlands and then in those of the south in October".
Moreover, the ONCI also aims to organize screenings and workshops in collaboration with schools, universities and tourism institutions.
